Why You Should Try a TWA with Big Hoops

Sometimes doing the big chop means you have to cut your natural hair very short-- emphasis on the "very." However, that does not mean you cannot have a feminine look. The best way to accessorize your natural hair with a TWA is to focus on your type of jewelry, specifically earrings. Since TWAs are a short hairstyle, large hoop earrings (in either gold or silver) can compliment your look perfectly for a stylish touch. From decorative to simple and minimal, trying hoops with your TWA is a beautiful pairing.

4c Natural Hairstyles You can Easily Do

Thanks to Nekisha of Black Zulu, women with 4c tightly coiled natural hair now have options for how to style their hair. Many times natural hair that is tightly coiled is sidelined for looser coils and curls. However, Nekisha offers two TWA, 4c hairstyles that are professional and chic.

The Flat Twist Out

A flat twist out provides a coiled look on 4c hair. Pick your roots with a wide tooth comb and a pick to add volume and shape.

How to tie a scarf for natural hair turban

Scarves and turbans are great ways to add a stylish accessory to your natural hairstyle. Turbans work especially well with TWAs (small afros) and up dos. Turbans can also gently cover thin edges while they are in the process of growing back. Make sure your scarf or turban is made of 100% satin to ensure that the material does not snag the hairline.
